Tommes K. Brandt is a Berlin-based DJ and vocalist whose sound moves between House, Techno and Disco, shaped by the Black and queer roots of underground music as well as Berlin's club culture. His sets combine percussive rhythms, distinctive vocals and driving club records, reflecting both his background as a singer and his appreciation for the rich traditions of electronic music.
For Tommes, club culture has always been about more than the dancefloor. Inspired by the communities that created and continue to shape it, he sees clubs as places where people connect, express themselves and build a sense of belonging. That understanding informs both his musical selection and the atmosphere he aims to create behind the decks.
Whether playing intimate community events, open-air gatherings or club dancefloors, Tommes approaches every set with the same intention: bringing people together through music while honouring the culture and communities that made it possible.
Beyond the booth, Tommes is co-founder and co-host of A-Side Berlin, a party series rooted in House while embracing the wider spectrum of underground electronic music. Centering BIPoC, queer communities and allies, A-Side celebrates community, musical quality and the cultural legacy of Black and queer club culture that continues to shape dancefloors around the world.
